Ruckriegel Electric has a long history of giving back to the community in Louisville and Jeffersontown. This tradition started with Daniel Sr. and has been continued by Daniel Jr. These contributions include time and talent of Ruckriegel Electric as well as monetary donations and include a wide range of events and causes.

Today, Ruckriegel Electric is especially proud of its Wagon 17 program. Wagon 17 is a restored fire truck that is used for community activities such as parades, birthdays and other civic events. This has included the Pegasus Parade and the Gaslight Festival. Using Wagon 17 for these events allows Ruckriegel Electric to continue to give back to the community by participating in the event and creating a great time for the various groups using our vintage fire engine.
